"Hermetic artist A.M. Breakups has emerged from a cave down by the power lines marked by the letters RSW long enough to share REDIVIDER, an instrumental album marking their latest release since 2021's OGB collaborative EP.

I thought AMB was an aimless drifter when I first met them. Time has allowed me the perspective to understand they were one of the most focused people I'd ever met. Some of my most cherished possessions were plucked from the trash by AM; they saw the potential in what had been discarded by others. Encouraged from a young age to "be as weird as I want," the producer we now hear is less a weirdo, and more a thoughtful re-arrangement of the lives once discarded that now find beauty within the negative spaces left by society.

REDIVIDER beckons us to follow down a muddy trail into a decrepit building and calls attention to how the sunlight filtering through a broken window dances across scenes rarely viewed. AM borrows ideas and feelings to craft music like a subsistence farmer; taking only what is needed with the utmost respect for the source, they are an artist successfully producing a sustainable harvest, and would love to share their table with you."

The year is 3055 and nobody has visited the building depicted on this album in hundreds of years. It became rotted and abandoned long ago due to gentrification, nuclear fallout, and environmental disaster. If you dare venture into it (like one of Tarkovsky's stalkers into the "Zone"), you might hear Sharif's ghost, who haunts its walls, chanting these rhymes in the cold winter night Thank you Sharif, Dove, and Backwoodz for the album.
